Our Story
How It All Began.
KpH was founded by Kevin Potter in 2001 as KpH Environmental Services, with an initial focus on delivering deconstruction and environmental services related to the safe dismantling of fuel storage tanks, forecourt decommissioning, and decontamination.
The business quickly established a reputation for handling complex and sensitive projects with care, precision, and a strong commitment to health and safety.
As client needs evolved, so too did our service offering.
Responding to increasing demand for high-quality soft strip and enabling works, the business expanded its capabilities – leading to the formation of a separate company, KpH Deconstruction Services Ltd. This company was formed to deliver specialist deconstruction, structural and non-structural alterations, general demolition, and pre-refurbishment audits, with builders’ works later added as the most recent addition to support full project delivery.
From the outset, KpH has set itself apart from traditional demolition contractors by applying methodical, considered approaches to dismantling and problem-solving. This mindset remains a core part of how we operate today. KpH has grown into a multi-disciplinary site team of over 300 operatives and professionals, delivering works on some of the largest and most high-profile projects across London and the South of England.
We operate to high standards of health and safety, quality, and sustainability, and continually invest in our people, equipment, and technology to deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Our services continue to be supported by KpH Environmental, which specialises in decontamination, tank removal, and the dismantling of heavy plant and machinery.

As KpH we continue to deliver the same trusted expertise, standards, and precision that our clients rely on, while embracing a future focused on advancing our industry, sustainability, and a better way of doing things.
