Old Caterhamians RFC crowned champions of Counties 2 Surrey

Old Cats finished the season in style with a decisive win over Bec Old Boys, securing the league title with a seventeen-point margin over second-placed Old Wimbledonians. Following a narrow defeat by Chipstead in December, the team went on a nine-match unbeaten run to cap an outstanding season.

The stats tell the story: played 22, won 20, lost just 2. This remarkable record is testament not only to the cohesion and effort of the first-team squad, but also to the club’s investment in nurturing young talent in recent years. With three promotions, two league titles and an unbeaten season in their recent history, the team continues to go from strength to strength.

The club’s ethos of training hard, playing for each other, and remaining close friends on and off the pitch has been at the heart of their success. Behind the scenes, the efforts of coaches, management and volunteers — together with the invaluable support of sponsors — have provided the foundations for the squad’s achievements.

Next season, Old Cats will rise to the challenge of Counties 1 Surrey/Sussex League, and KpH looks forward to backing them every step of the way.
