KpH was part of the pilot group working with SAS International (SAS) to launch a sustainable takeback scheme for ceiling tiles in 2024. On 1 Appold Street, where we delivered strip out works, we extracted over 7000 ceiling panels which were returned to SAS for storage, ready for future reuse. Since then, over 30,000 ceiling tiles have been recovered from KpH projects, demonstrating the viability and scale of take-back schemes. This has resulted in an estimated carbon saving of 240TCO₂e.
